Jared Cole at 7/4 v Barnard.

So Cadby didn’t get replaced with a reserve player and Darren Beveridge gets a bye to R2. Why not just promote player #97? Considering 1000s have lost out in QSchool and the Qualifiers at his expense.

This Cadby situation needs to be resolved as soon as possible.

Not a lot they can do, he has a tour card and there is no rule about pulling out before events so the PDC are just carrying on in a tournament by tournament decision. Hes going to lose his tour card anyway.

Only way they can solve it isto force Qschool players to have visas ready if they get a tour card and they cant really do that.

So Cadby didn’t get replaced with a reserve player and Darren Beveridge gets a bye to R2. Why not just promote player #97? Considering 1000s have lost out in QSchool and the Qualifiers at his expense.

This Cadby situation needs to be resolved as soon as possible.

Not a lot they can do, he has a tour card and there is no rule about pulling out before events so the PDC are just carrying on in a tournament by tournament decision. Hes going to lose his tour card anyway.

He won’t lose his card if he gets a visa before the end of the year probably only needs another few thousand to remain in the top 64.

The PDC is more competitive and lucrative than ever before though, money needed to retain a tour card is getting higher all the time. Jacques entered the top 64 with £43k in 2017 but lost his tour card despite adding £9,250 last year and not defending anything. Burton predicts 64th place come January 1st will have around £70k, and Cadby is on £54,500 at the moment

He must have been told by now if UK immigration will give him a visa at some future date or not.

If a categorical no then PDC should have stripped him of card at end of last year.

Trust me their have been cases that have taken a lot longer than this to have been told either way.

Exactly so if he gets his visa in the summertime he will he fine as he will easily earn enough money. If he gets it he will likely easily qualify for the worlds for a start. I mean he made that much money in very few events he will make over 16k easily.

ET 11 & 12 qualifying are 2/8.
Any delay deep into summer would reduce his opportunities significantly.

Which would easily be enough for him to make worlds and PC finals. I think people are forgetting how good a player he is.

People remember how good he was at the start of last season. Then in the WSoD in Australia he wasn't very good. It would be 18 months since the UK Open final. He hasn't played long enough to know whether it was form or class.
