Some great "bookie bashing" from the forum yesterday :DDDD:
Their pricing of Hughes throughout the day has made people a shedload :headbang:

Lots of upsets due to the brutal first few rounds, not that many whitewashes though.

Wasn't surprised to see MVG go as he was abysmal on Thursday night and now it's wide open as many players are unable to carry their form through 2 days.

Won't be betting on too much now, bits and bats in running and 180's is where the cash is at today.

Say what you like about Merv - I know he’s not Mr Popular, but the luck of the draw isn’t exactly with him is it?

It’s also not just about Wade, he’s playing Hopp.
Germany is the PDC’s 2nd largest TV market so if possible they want a German player on live TV there. Helps boost their ratings.

Apologies if this has already been discussed, but what's the craic between Rob Collins and Rowby John Rodriguez?

The Dutch must have felt like running onto the beach on D-Day.

20 participants. 1 left.

And on that note Wattimena is looking like he will easily be the second highest Dutchman by the wine the World Cup comes round and thus should get a place.

As was said earlier both hughes and price already got a game on the main stage on tv where as Wade the only previous winner left in the comp deserves a spot on the stage.

As for crowd favorite i think you find wade probably has more fans than price if their recent match up was anything to go by,.

You should think before making stupid claims
Can you calm down for a minute Gerrie Murfie

I stand where I stand: MvG every year already got a game on the main stage but they kept on putting him on the main stage. so that's not a valid argument. There is no such thing as someone deserves a place on the main stage. One should decide based on the best matches for tv viewers, no other argument.

so tell me einstein what constitutes the best game ?

Wade had the second highest average of the entire last 64 I believe
the only previous winner left in the comp
A top ten player against a supposed rising star in hopp.

Just because you might not want that game does not mean others feel the same.
I am glad the wade game is on the main stage as are many others who are wade fans, just as the countless german fans are for hopp.

They have been giving even money on most matches going over 16.5 legs, only 1 game thus far under that total. There dosen't look like any walkovers or hammerings happening due to the players being fairly equally matched.
