DVdB. Van den Bergh. Belgians capitalize the v on Van.
Or just DVD if you let auto-correct rule.

Good last leg and win.

So. last 16 is:
2 Cross
6 Smith
8 Price
9 Whitlock
10 Wade
11 Chisnall
21 Beaton
26 Wattimena
29 Aspinall
30 Van den Bergh
33 Reyes
35 Lennon
51 Ratajski
53 Payne
65 Smith
67 Stevenson
Some of course because of the more open draw, but of the players left in, few big surprises, with players in form above their ranking. A few of the surprises are there despite poor performances.

How is this possible with the larger targets available to these “professionals”?!
The broken record keeps on sticking.

wade was above whitlock in the rankings, and wade was coming into this only defending 1750 quid

Lennon thrown it away with missed doubles, think he’s just managed to bust 120 as well.

wade left it too late to start playing proper darts it seems.

Ross deserves it

9-7 Smith. Playing well under pressure of a wade comeback

Fair play to Smith, done what Wade normally does and took advantage of opponent struggling.

Hoping now for a winner from M.Smith or Aspinall.
Thinking of one.

Just a point on the format, why first to 10 from round 4 onwards? It was previously first to 9 but either way that’s still too long.

Should be first to 6 up to the quarters then first 10 onwards. You could then play just two rounds a session on the 2 x Friday sessions rather than squeeze 3 into Fri afternoon or even all players go in from round 2/3 and spread it out with say two sessions on Sat night and still have some action on the outside boards on Sat night which I’m sure would please those who go to the event and looks dramatic on tv also!

Has Price got a 'rent a crowd' of fans similar to the group who supported ando a few years back (wearing that 'foul fashion' brand)?

I like Price when he just plays, it the nonsense that occasionally flares up with him. Hope he cuts it out.

With a pdctv subscription worth the cost if you enjoy your darts all ETS on it too
I was meaning the previous matches specifically from Friday would that still be the case?
