Did you see the post match interview? he pretty much said he did it because of what Price did in the previous few legs and because they was having a laugh up there
I’m sure he’s been doing it all tournament when on the big stage, not to the extent of price or in that match, but he definently comes across as a passionate player... like I said I prefer to see players like that but will admit there is a line that some do cross..
Well you answer your own question there.

Passion is ok, being a cock isnt

I don't mind who wins, just hope Smith is able to do himself justice if he makes it

Aspinall has always given it large on stage..massive celebrations. I love watching him play...but I have grown to like watching Price play...it's what makes darts a TV sport if you have the skill and that passion...

Case in point

Big finish by Aspinall or price and giving it the big one - yeah go for it

Hitting a 180 and giving it the big one in the middle of a leg in a match your losing - your being a dick

I doubt you saw Aspinall giving it large for a single T18 in a visit.

Great match and a very good result for Nathan Aspinall.

Thought overall the game was played in good spirit, with both players giving it large, but staying within acceptable levels.

Hoping Smith gets through to the final and then we will see another new Major winner.

2 reasons people are negative (as well as other reasons ) re a players actions can be influenced by who is doing it and to whom it is being done to.

thus some don't like price and jump on him for doing that. Other love ando and so are upset that it was done to their beloved hero that they get really upset. Now those same folk excuse ando pushing price but if a player did that to ando....

re tonight's 1st game. Superb. Loved it.
and to be honest i loved the emotion shown on the stage. Just at key moments though. Great.

reckon price has learnt his lesson but some will always dislike him because of who he beat in the gsod.

Cross unleashing his inner Wade here, a marked difference from last year. Will he complete the job now?

Will be some achievement for Aspinall if he can win 200k in 2 months and into the top 16.

I'm sure one of his main practice partners is Bradley Brooks, who has been knocking in some impressive performances.

For what has been a great tournament this is a dire final, both players averaging 80, Cross particularly is awful.

Would be surprised if Cross won another major, still at least he’ll have one more major than Jamie Lewis will ever win...

Abysmal from Cross

not just his performance but his attitude.
Some of those double attempts were awful....that double 5 was nearly in the treble 12

already conceded he is going to lose
i am so sorry for my actions these last ten years, i'm going through a tough time
