Not arguing about this at all, but there a definitely those that would and are taking advantage. I look at Maik Langendorf - is he Austrian or is classed as a German citizen now? Because he has entered German HNQs.

Either use residency (for the argument that it would keep costs low for players) or nationality. There must be consistency across the board.

You're two years behind, the standardization you ask for took place with the start of the 2017 season.

I hope Anna get thru and if either Lisa or fallon get thru tricky game we know Lisa can thru 95+ for 7-8 legs done on tv if start like that she have good chance

Heh, not literally, sadly.

Given Dobromyslova's dominance there, not much sign of anything special happening. But, I think it was a good sign for the women's game that a bunch of the lower-standard players like de Graaf and Hammond were beaten early.

Both qualifiers will be FREE to enter and will be open to any female player aged 16 or over. Entry is based on citizenship as outlined in PDC Rule 7.6.

Anastasia represents Russia and is down as a professional darts player in Russia, So there was no chance of her plying in the UK as this will have meant she was representing UK and trust me she will never turn her back on Russia as they are to good to her.

Entering the UK playoffs never even entered the thoughts.

She has played World Cup of Darts also in the PDC for Russia so would have looked a bit strange.

A FIELD of 153 players are set to compete in the UK & Ireland Women's Qualifier for the William Hill World Darts Championship in Milton Keynes on Sunday.

A spot in the world's biggest darts event is on offer in the knockout event at the Marshall Arena.

The winner will join Anastasia Dobromyslova at Alexandra Palace, after the Russian star won the Rest of the World Women's Qualifier last weekend.

The entries include reigning Lakeside Champion Lisa Ashton, who is joined in qualifying by daughters Lindsey and Danielle.

Lorraine Winstanley and Crissy Manley will be hoping to emulate husbands Dean and Peter, who have previously competed at Alexandra Palace, while Courtney Hine is hoping to follow in the footsteps of dad Steve, who will be bidding to qualify for his fifth World Championship 24 hours later.

Deta Hedman is looking to return to the PDC stage, having previously competed in three UK Opens between 2003-2005 during her time on the PDC circuit.

Play in Sunday's event will commence at 12pm, with the draw being made at 11am following the close of registration.
