As long as Deta isn’t there

(Sorry Deta I just can’t take Paul talking about it for the next 4 weeks)
Which she isn't as O'Brien beat her 5-2.

Hope ashton wins, as she and dobromyslova look like the only ones who could actually do something decent on their day. However, would still be a major upset if one of thembcame through their 1st round game. Everybody keeps saying they can average in the 90's, but that obviously is more the exception than the rule. Alltogether, the ladies standard is shite, I'm afraid. Would rather see those two places turned into international qualifiers

You need to remember a 90 average in the prelim round is an exception also.

Yes, but there are no prelim rounds anymore and she will run into a tour card holder straight away in the 1st round, which would always make her the underdog

Sounds like the two players most would have wanted to qualify have done so. Look forward to watching them at Ally Pally.

Is it at all possible that Ana and Lisa could draw each other?

No each international qualifier plays a pro tour qualifier

Lisa averaged 82 for the day which isn’t bad compared to other international qualifier. A good game and she has a chance

Tony Martin said she was appearing..Hearn will be delighted with the 2 qualifiers and to be fair its good publicity for Lakeside as well.

Yes, for women's darts you couldn't have asked for two better qualifiers IMHO. Should both be able to put up a good match of they're on their game and have some luck with the draw.

I hope they both play their very best, could make for interesting watching.

Depends on draw I think Lisa will start good and it will be 1-1 in sets then see if she can keep it up I think formats will be a disadvantage is was best of 3 sets be different

Imagine if darts was so predictable you could tell everyone how many sets and the score after 2 sets in a match without even knowing who is playing who!!
