That's one of the things the BDO _should_ be for. Players who can't handle the PDC any more, for whatever reason: health problems, declining ability, lack of motivation, etc.

No apparently a source close to Barney said he'd made his money in the exhibition league now, financially secure he wanted to return to real darts and would love to win another Lakeside crown.

That actually would be fun to see. Load of old cobblers of course but I wonder if a really big name will do that at some point when they "retire".

Actually, if the bdo became a masters tour then i bet they would sell more tickets for lakside !!
