So the 9th year in a row with the same prize money.
In 2011, the PDC winner's prize was already £200K from a fund of £1m. It's just paid the winner £500K from a fund of £2.5m. The last 16 losers in the PDC got the same as the Lakeside runner-up will win and the first round PDC losers (all 32 of them) earned more than a Lakeside quarter-finalist will win.

Staying at the same level just increases the divide between the two codes.

Maybe they could get the 700 county freeloaders to put their hands in their pockets and donate a tenner. That's £7k straight away

Its probably only 150 freeloaders doing 4 or 5 sessions each :D

Perhaps if every "BDO Fanatic" on Facebook put £1 in. Not much to ask for someone who is fanatical about the BDO. There's £10K.

Yes. That would close the gaping chasm between them massively.

Hes a really good American Football journalist, done a lot for C4 and BBC when they have had the NFL.

Hes got a really good knowledge of American sports but ive never seen him once mention darts. Dunno where its mentioned hes doing it because hes advertised hes on NFL coverage all this weekend and next.

As you say does the live NFL coverage presentation for the BBC. Did a couple of the live Wembley games in the autumn and May do SuperBowl at end of month.

Issue is I thought he does the NFL radio coverage for Talksport which is both weekend evenings. So could do the afternoon sessions at weekends and any weekday but wouldn’t be able to do the final either.
