Probably queuing up to buy his 5th portion of chips at that point.
Uncannily accurate.

Oche was there but isn't in the picture as he got lost trying to purchase food.

Nikki isn't in the pic because the poor lamb is camera shy (except when kipping) and it's probably best not having his ugly mug on display anyway.
Nick was scared of upsetting Unicorn....... ;-)

Leighton bennet turned up to our local Boxing Day open, that had 2 tour card holders, 4 challenge tour players and countless county players and won the lot so I’ve got him as favourite today

Evening session last night was actually pretty full
I was sat next to Paddy and can confirm this is a lie.

Floor tables away from the stage at the back all empty. Half the "players area" empty and virtually no-one in the cheap seats at the back. 40% of capacity at best, including the Reynolds and Waites chavs.

Still had a great night, mind.
what was the atmosphere like though. Still buzzing even though down to 40% capacity?

TV hid it well. You could see loads of empty tables etc, at times, but it looked okay on TV.

Too far to go. Especially when our car 'busted' in the week before Christmas. Using one from a mate but only or local use until we buy another.

re mrs devo: I am beginning to suspect I am in a mixed marriage. Not 100% she is an all darter like you and I! She seemed more interested in Ally Pally than she is in this event.

Seriously though she watches the ladies games (we have it on record) but not as interested in the men game in comparison to the PDC.

How on Earth do know that the TV hid it well? You weren't even there, one drunken ex-PDC official said it was empty but everyone else in the room said it was pretty full. Maybe the TV under accentuated the crowd.....

phil davies wrote: Thu Jan 10, 2019 1:25 pm Bennet the best 13 year old player since MvG?

If he keeps progressing then him at 16 giving the pdc a go will be intresting.
Why would he want to take a back step?

The 13 year old currently averaging 87.9 after two sets.

This is more than all the following so far this tournament:

Mark McGeeney
Roger Janssen
Oliver Ferenc
Scott Baker
Mark McGrath
Dean Reynolds
Chris Landman
Mark Layton
Jim Widmayer
Derk Telnekes
Tony O'Shea
Dave Parletti
Andy Hamilton
Martin Phillips
Jeffrey Van Egdom
Mal Cuming
Ryan Hogarth
Daniel Day

Shame to them all.
