Re: 2019 BDO world championship schedule
Duzza not playing until Tuesday makes me wonder what the tv schedule and channels are going to be like
Top players have always played weekends previously

Re: 2019 BDO world championship schedule
Wes newton Saturday 7 pm on Eurosport can’t see both channels showing it simultaneously but stranger things have happened
Re: 2019 BDO world championship schedule
Well he can't play first so may as well put him on a quiet midweek to try and shift some tickets instead.Zapp Brannigan wrote:Duzza not playing until Tuesday makes me wonder what the tv schedule and channels are going to be like

Quite why they have released this on the same evening the other lot did their draw is a bit odd, mind. Almost like they want to "do a Jo Moore".

I agree, seems odd to pick straight after the PDC draw to do it.oche balboa wrote:Very weird logicGinge wrote: ↑Mon Nov 26, 2018 8:12 pmWell he can't play first so may as well put him on a quiet midweek to try and shift some tickets instead.Zapp Brannigan wrote:Duzza not playing until Tuesday makes me wonder what the tv schedule and channels are going to be like

Re: 2019 BDO world championship schedule
It might seem that way, but given that Sky are plugging the inclusion of the 2 women in the WC, and those same two women are also playing at Lakeside, it is a golden opportunity for the BDO to jump on the juggernaut that is Sky and the PDC in full promotional flow.Ginge wrote: ↑Mon Nov 26, 2018 9:48 pmI agree, seems odd to pick straight after the PDC draw to do it.oche balboa wrote:Very weird logicGinge wrote: ↑Mon Nov 26, 2018 8:12 pmWell he can't play first so may as well put him on a quiet midweek to try and shift some tickets instead.Zapp Brannigan wrote:Duzza not playing until Tuesday makes me wonder what the tv schedule and channels are going to be like

Re: 2019 BDO world championship schedule
It’s sound logic but they actually need someone to plug it.ssjsa wrote:It might seem that way, but given that Sky are plugging the inclusion of the 2 women in the WC, and those same two women are also playing at Lakeside, it is a golden opportunity for the BDO to jump on the juggernaut that is Sky and the PDC.Ginge wrote: ↑Mon Nov 26, 2018 9:48 pmI agree, seems odd to pick straight after the PDC draw to do it.oche balboa wrote:Very weird logicGinge wrote: ↑Mon Nov 26, 2018 8:12 pmWell he can't play first so may as well put him on a quiet midweek to try and shift some tickets instead.Zapp Brannigan wrote:Duzza not playing until Tuesday makes me wonder what the tv schedule and channels are going to be like

Re: 2019 BDO world championship schedule
Google search on Women's world darts championship brings up the BDO page first. Followed by the dartsnews.com and Sky articles in latest news directly below.Zapp Brannigan wrote: ↑Mon Nov 26, 2018 10:36 pmIt’s sound logic but they actually need someone to plug it.ssjsa wrote:It might seem that way, but given that Sky are plugging the inclusion of the 2 women in the WC, and those same two women are also playing at Lakeside, it is a golden opportunity for the BDO to jump on the juggernaut that is Sky and the PDC.

So no q-school problems for unterbuchner then. Surprised by that, but another fair decision on the BDO's part. They earn my respect
