I love set play darts. Matchplay darts is usually boring with so many uncompetitive matches and they do not usually have the drama that set
play matches do.

Didnt watch as cant stick watching Mitchell anymore. Happy with the semi finalists.

Would prefer a new winner being honest, dont mind Duzza but dont wont him equalling the 3 in a row.

It would be great and he would only be two behind Bristow's record of 5 world titles then.

That's pretty good when you take into consideration the pressure of the lakeside stage with all of its history, playing in front of a crowd that
is actually watching what is happening on that stage and the darters playing on regulation boards.

Like Wolfie once said about lakeside darts "Proper Darts"

I've enjoyed Mason and Nicholson on comms.

Its been a good week, Zapp wants BDO off the screens and not existing

Lakeside is great. Loved by true darts fans and hated by those that are not.

Oche, I was reading some of your posts and you are a great poster, Maybe the best poster I have read after Frank_Drebin, I have to disagree with you about Nicholson being good on comms though.

As for Zapp. Does he not like Lakeside?

I just saw him complaining about the commentary but not the actual games.

I have been pleasantly surprised at this year's Lakeside..I've enjoyed what I've seen....I think the commentary has actually been ok...the actual production of the event has been good..much better than recent BDO efforts..this is a proper production that comes across fine..
The standard will never be PDC standard..the last PDC World championship was awesome in my mind and this will never live up to that standard wise, those days have long gone....some of the games have been a bit iffy standard wise to be honest but it's a grower and it's got better...tonight's matches were good and the 4 players left are quality players regardless of code..
Lakeside has come across well and I still think it would be a risk to leave but people seem to think the indig02 will get good promotion so maybe it would be ok...risky though...
All in all its been pretty enjoyable..commentators are ok..production good..presentation fine..standard very mixed but it will never be the PDC now but the last 4 now could all be very decent PDC players in my opinion?
