Thought Glen was very humble in his interview with Georgie after the match, especially in the comparison to his achievement in winning 3 straight titles against Bristow's three.

Was asked about 3 in a row and comparisons to Bristow

Said straight up that there wasn’t a comparison because Eric did it in a unified field and “while I can only beat whose in front of me I haven’t had to beat mvg or Micheal smith to win this title”

Great darts under pressure from Glen, especially those big finishes when it mattered.

Nice one Glen. Will listen to it later. All balanced folk know it isn't the same achievement.

Unlike Adams who claimed he had equalled Anderson's 3 masters wins.

and I know it is nit picking but please: bin the giant cheques. At the ladies little Richard had to drop it behind his back because it was in the way. Thought des would have got rid of these.

Well that was a wierd end to the broadcast

Everyone ignoring the fact glen is off to qschool on Thursday, even talking about him doing again next year and wolfie wanting to get in that he won the masters 3 in a row when talking about glen

and then the final question is asking wolfie if he’s going to be back next year

He played fantastic and is a thoroughly deserving of winning the BDO World Championship for the 3rd consecutive year. Very humble of Glen to articulate not comparable to Eric's feat.

A little bit like Wolfie's 3 consecutive World Masters titles. A fantastic achievement but not in the same league as Bob's 3.

Decent display there from Glen, wouldn't pull any trees on the dark side, but would still be highly respectable

What a magnificent end to the comp with Glen Durrant picking up the trophy, and honestly admitting his titles are not on a par with Bristows titles win in a unified field.
He admits he was not playing the likes of MVG or Michael Smith and could only beat what was in front of him, The audience were silent and seething as Durrant put the boot in as he jumped ship with £100,000 of the bdo money in his back pocket.

Welcome to the PDC glen
