They both might as well play the CT events in the early part of the season - if they do enough to get into Pro Tour events then great, if not they are already at Lakeside (or wherever) so happy days!

We don't know who's going to have a crack at the BDO tour yet. We could be saying "Welcome home" to any of the Q School lads who didn't make it. I personally know of one who's going to try and make Lakeside
oh dear.

I was referring to this years lakeside runner up and q-school utter failure Scott Waites
I know you were dumbass. If more q schoolers (higher ranked) decided to play BDO then perhaps Waites wouldn't be the favourite that you claim he is.

The reason they played q-school is because they want to be in the pdc not the bdo.

The bdo is the booby prize, the bottom of the barrel

Only a week to wait to find out but I thought the reason waites went over was because he didnt want to tour any more and liked the idea of just going to Wigan and Barnsley.

Like it has been said he’s guaranteed lakeside so might as well spend the year doing challenge tour (which is probably worth more) and euro tour (if non tour card holders can do them)

DavidB wrote: Sun Jan 20, 2019 9:04 pm No, I’m saying that most who watch Lakeside and all the casual viewers won’t even know there was such a thing as Q-School, let alone Waites gave it a go and didn’t get through.

But if you think it’s funny...
I am sure Mason & Nicholson will know and if they are back on commentary they are sure as eggs to mention it about as often as they discussed the women's prize money this year.

If he does well enough in the CT he can do ET qualifying, if he gets top 32 in the rankings (not including Europeans who have their own path to ET qualifying)

Some of these failed q school players I'm sure will try for Lakeside, but wil they get near the WDT in the summer? What sort of line up will that have!
