Bob coaches in Clevedon Somerset. His fee is £300, for 4 hours coaching over two consecutive weekdays, 10am to 12 noon each day.

That equates to £75 per hour, plus hotel / B and B if you have to stay overnight in Clevedon.

With no right way to throw a dart I find it hard to believe that darts lessons would improve your game .

Coaches would be looking for two main things:
1) causes of failure to repeat
2) causes of injury

Having somebody with a good understanding of the mechanics of the game, who can closely observe your set up and throw is likely to be help with those.

I know a guy who paid £300 for a darts lesson with a top pro ( or certianly was at the time ) consisted of an hour of getting pumped.

I can think of better ways to make £300 disappear.

Also number 2 ? Causes of injury ? I ve played darts for 30 years and never injured myself during this , its called common sense ,if you need to pay someone to find out why you are getting injured at darts you really should reevaluate your whole life.

Repetitive strain injuries are often avoidable with adjustments to technique.

It's a weird thing to think coaching can't help in darts, when it's used successfully in so many sports.

Is that a challenge? As you know I'm shit at darts so we would need some stipulations to make it a level playing field . Like a handicap in golf.

After all it would be the same as me challenging you to go for a run . You would need a headstart
