This has been debated to death, it has already been stated Sportotal were planning on taking the old BDO to court for interfering, Des wouldnt dare do the same on this basis. He's just taking the glory.

He more or less admitted in one of his FB posts it was out of his hands ffs.

not always been dessy biggest fan but every credit to him for doing interview, personally thought he came across well, took credit for the tv deal my view i think the he & sport total should share the credit equally, after all wasnt there beef with the old board / committee, he was happy to be interviewed again in 6 months time which to me speaks volumes again every credit to him for doing the broadcast, wonder if he will have a chat on the chaises lounge at lakeside on tv by a roving reporter !!
