- leave them with the other half
- leave them with another family member
- dont bother going at all

Well thats one option. Others include:

- leave them with the other half
- leave them with another family member
- dont bother going at all

or don't have them in the first place.

How does it differ from most other family holidays to Turkey? I'm sure a few kids go with their parents then, probably see them well lubricated as well...

To be fair it probably won't be both parents playing darts, as for the responsible parents, you need to go on more package holidays and watch parents in action!
