The European 2019 Lakeside participants are allowed to play at the British Q-School later this month. This will be held from January 17-20 in Wigan.

The entries for the European Q-School were announced on Wednesday, with all the European Lakeside competitors missing on the entry list. This is because the European Q-School starts two days ahead of the BDO showpiece event.

Think I asked about five times on here if any of the affected players had actually asked if they could play the UK one instead...

Unterbuchner has already said that he'll be staying in the BDO for 2019 and then will try to qualify for the PDC in 2020.

However that may have been before this info had come available.

I’m sure Tony will be on soon enough to confirm.

I can’t confirm when others have been informed of this decision that’s they could play as I have not spoke to any other Europeans.

But we were aware of this offer to play UK Q School.

Could this be a reaction to the issue there’s only around 270 names for Euro one, so Barry isn’t getting the cream in euroland, again uk one is jam packed while it’s easier to qualify for a card on the continent argument will carry on

I think Labanauskas and some others are better then the Euroland players at Lakeside.

Or, as Bag Carrier noted, the offer was already there, it just wasn't previously publicised because there are only 15 players who could be affected, and it'd be easy to do deal with inquiries on a case-by-case basis.
