Fantastic first match to kick off the 2019 Matchplay.

Both averaging over 100, and at 5-5 thought the Asp was going to be a clear winner, but the 160 checkout by Mervyn seemed to unsettle Aspinall.

Some match that, happy the welsh gob has gone. Cant believe Bunty recovered from 4-1 down throwing trash. Messed up leg 24 though.

Fair play to both players.

Really dramatic match, but in all fairness, neither player was fantastic.

Bunting will not be caring as through to the last 16. Two matches gone, two seeds out.

If Sky got rid of all the shit build up and pre recorded interviews would be time for the post match ones. No way they need so much studio chatter.

Why on earth do they need over 30 minutes of chat before the start. They could easily have the first match starting at 7:10pm.
Also as usual with them way to many advertising breaks.

Were you watching the same programme tonight? They had nowhere near 30 mins of build up.
