They should just change the boards after 5 legs.

Another great match.
Have to say sometimes in the 1st Round of the Matchplay, it can be a bit of an anti climax, as expectations are so high, but this year has been exceptional.

Gurney seems to be steadily improving all the time. Has a decent basic throw too with not much room for it to fall apart.
Was unsure of him for a while but starting to take to him.

Is it my eyes or do the black sections look strange on this board.

Fantastic 164 checkout from Snakebite to get back into the match 2-1 down. Highest checkout of the tournament thus far.

I think super Glen will probably not beat MVG but it was a fantastic result last night.
He has had an amazing start to his PDC career.

Snakebite not unsurprisingly playing fantastic. Sticking with the same set of darts playing massive dividends, and in all fairness, on current form, is the best player in the competition by the proverbial country mile.

Not your eyes, it's a bit shiney, like the used paint/coloring hasn't been mixed right. The Crusader wrote: ↑Mon Jul 22, 2019 10:09 pm Is it my eyes or do the black sections look strange on this board.

Both averaging just over 100 at halfway. Decent match.

Magnificent stuff from Snakey here, van der Voort doing next to nothing wrong and yet finds himself 6-4 down!
A side note, anyone know why Vincent is so popular? He's consistently miserable on stage, some of his interviews have left a lot to be desired in the past too. Cracking walk-on but what else...?

Yes 3 is correct, good knowledge Crusader!! Wade is obviously one, Lewis is the second, Whitlock is the third. All three went off the boil at one point each in the last 10 years, but have all managed to be seeded for Blackpool in spite of this. To be applauded I would say?

Re: PDC World Matchplay 20th - 28th July 2019- Blackpool
When he was edged out by Gary Anderson at the Worlds in an epic encounter, he took defeat so well and having not been fussed before, he won me over. But his on-stage antics since (World Cup for one) and here make him look like a rabbit in the headlights who takes defeat consistently poorly. Serious question though, does he have an attention disorder or the such like?DavidOwen67 wrote: ↑Sun Jul 21, 2019 11:17 pmCompletely correct. A talented player but a terrible loser.
What she should have blamed was his own 82 average. Bloke's an idiot.

Honestly didnt know Whitlock had been in PDC that long. Was thinking those who had dropped out. Barney, Taylor, Jenkins, Baxter, Stompe, Lloyd? Priestley? Some guessing tbh.WizardofozFan wrote:Sorry, has been hectic day at work, sorry about not replying earlier. The Crusader wrote: ↑Mon Jul 22, 2019 8:17 pmAny chance of answer? The Crusader wrote:Will guess at 3. Shows how quick the turnover on players is.
