Thanks for reply. Bloody annoying on tv. Surely the boards should be quality tested etc beforehand.Case wrote:Not your eyes, it's a bit shiney, like the used paint/coloring hasn't been mixed right. The Crusader wrote: ↑Mon Jul 22, 2019 10:09 pm Is it my eyes or do the black sections look strange on this board.

Spot on there, not sure it's the case for Lewis who wants to get back but just isn't good enough at the moment when it matters, coupled with bad spouts of luck. Being hyped too much by Sky but can click at any point as we know. The Crusader wrote: ↑Sun Jul 21, 2019 10:48 pmSometimes and not saying its the case here but I believe some players achieve their goals, then end up financially secure and they lose that bit of hunger.ssjsa wrote:Really expected Adey to use the occasion to play decent darts. Andy Hamilton (thank goodness)
Wes Newton (thank goodness)
Justin Pipe
Colin Osborne
Paul Nicholson
Wayne Jones
Brendan Dolan
Benito van de Pas
Darren Webster (heading that way at least)

Good performance from Wright. Good seeing VVDV playing well again too.
Thankfully they used a dodgy board to distract from Snakebites clobber.

Quality control obviously not the highest priority with this manufacturer.

Re: PDC World Matchplay 20th - 28th July 2019- Blackpool
Yes he was seeded 12th for the 2010 edition after his amazing debut year and has qualified ever since. All of those have made countless appearances no doubt - didn't Taylor play 108 games at the Winter Gardens, winning 99 & losing 9 from memory? The man was unbelievably consistent above all else. The Crusader wrote: ↑Mon Jul 22, 2019 10:45 pmHonestly didnt know Whitlock had been in PDC that long. Was thinking those who had dropped out. Barney, Taylor, Jenkins, Baxter, Stompe, Lloyd? Priestley? Some guessing tbh.WizardofozFan wrote:Sorry, has been hectic day at work, sorry about not replying earlier. The Crusader wrote: ↑Mon Jul 22, 2019 8:17 pmAny chance of answer? The Crusader wrote:Will guess at 3. Yes 3 is correct, good knowledge Crusader!! Wade is obviously one, Lewis is the second, Whitlock is the third. All three went off the boil at one point each in the last 10 years, but have all managed to be seeded for Blackpool in spite of this. To be applauded I would say?
Shows how quick the turnover on players is.

Another terrific evening of darts at the Winter Gardens, all 4 matches had something about them. Standard from 7 out of the 8 was very impressive, if Ricky Evans learnt how to not rush darts around the board he'd be a much better player but will he ever learn?!
Sad for Henderson there, played out of his skin and pretty much his only mistake were the 3 misses at the end, how that D5 didn't go in I'm not sure. Class embrace from both players at the end, massive respect to both men there.

Re: PDC World Matchplay 20th - 28th July 2019- Blackpool
This has been without doubt the best ever 1st Round in the Matchplay, and that despite the hammerings of Cullen and Wattimena.
For me, Wright will come through the bottom half, and despite Gary being out of sorts, have a feeling he will come through the top half.
Overall an all Scottish final would be great and have a bet on both to win.

Folks can say what they like about wes newton but I was there when he hit a 9 darter at Blackpool. Mvg hit one the next night (or night before ). I was there at that as well!
He's faded away. He's heading for Blackburn. But how many other have hit a 9 daryer on that great stage?

Taylor twice, Barneveld, Part and Anderson.
And yes, MvG was the night before.

Only 21/10 with Coral now. Think I'll give it a miss.

Got 23/10 with Skybet, would have preferred the 11/4 available when the markets appeared but meh.Buzz Fledderjohn wrote: ↑Tue Jul 23, 2019 8:18 am Only 21/10 with Coral now. Think I'll give it a miss.
Nothing else appeals, toying with the King under 95.5 average as surely he cant play two good games in a row.
