After the hype surrounding the next match, it would be ironic if it was the shittest match tonight

No.

In all fairness Mervyn was the better player tonight and fully deserved his win. Obviously disappointed that Gary went out, but doesn't really upset me, unless he has played great, but circumstances against him.

Probably the one that comes to memory was in the UK Open when in the deciding leg against Paul Hogan he hit a perfect bull, which should have won the match, but it fell out of the board. :banghead:

Great first session from Glen, breaking MVG in the 5th leg to lead 3-2. All he should be looking for is to win his legs on throw in the 2nd session to lead 6-4.

Been out at darts tonight. Looks like I've missed the best night so far. Seen Wade was 8-5 down. Did Sully go off the boil?

Not to shocked with the Ando score after his 1st match. Hoping Duzza wins here but think he start shaking like a shotting dog if finish line is in sight.
Thinking of one.

I love to see the Gurner in such piss poor form (by his usual standards). I hope that
a) Durrant does not choke and throws this chance away
b) his recent form marks the beginning of a never ending, painful demise of the Gurner.

Sometimes they do, and that is just the luck of the draw, with hitting wires, flights and stems being the issues. Other times, and in the instance I referred to, the board costs the player the match.

Wade's average from 8-5 down actually went down four points by the end of the match, Suljovic's went down by seven, as you'll see from my other post earlier, Mensur had a nightmare scoring-wise in the last 3 legs after throwing for the match. Wade did what he had to.

Glen playing well and holding his nerve. Won both sessions 3-2.

Only needs to draw the next 10 legs and he is through to a Quarter-Final meeting with James Wade.

Cheers did see your post. So Sully dropped and Wade done his normal, thanks then I will win.

To a certain extent, Wade actually dipped in level too, which is just the way he wanted it. I guess that is his normal, as well as hitting the right shots at the right time.

Now fully expect Wade to reach the final to be fair.
