30k should do it
Was about £32k last year, and there are two extra events this year so £30k definitely won't be enough. We're roughly half the way to the Matchplay and the cut-off is about £19k at the moment so I would guess the cut-off come July will be something north of £35k

We shall have to wait and see I guess. I very much doubt it will be above 35k though personally.
Remember too that there is slightly more money in the Euro Tour this year, £5k for quarter finalists and £6,500 for semi-finalists per event. Could push it slightly above my rough estimate

Looking at the provisional qualifiers, would really like to see Ryan Searle do well.

Have to say, would be fantastic, although hugely unlikely, if Jamie Hughes could somehow put together one huge run and qualify.

Genuinely believe that he is going to do something special this year.

I am. Thought he played really well at the WC and has already got some decent scalps this season.

Think he is one of a few lower ranked that could do some damage in the Majors, and always good to see surprises at the Matchplay.

Hardly a surprise a Scotsman loves a cheater. They all love Barney, for instance.

Poor Sylvia.

There are 6 Players Championships and 7 European Tour events to go (ET3-ET9) before the cut-off.

The European Tour results are going to be crucial, since those are basically paying double.

Bunting is on the edge, but he's picked up his form and he has qualified for ET3, ET4, ET5, and ET6, so has good earning potential.

Klaasen is in big trouble. Not only is he well behind, he hasn't qualified for any of the European Tour events so far, so although he's now winning some games at the PCs he's missing out on chances to earn the larger chunks of money.

Huybrechts is playing OK now and qualified for ET3 and ET5.

There are 3 other players close to the edge (Martin Schindler, Steve West and Vincent van der Voort), who've only qualified for 1 of ET3 through ET6 so could end up dropping out of the qualifying spots, or falling away.
Max Hopp is also vulnerable since he's a seed for ET3-ET6.
