How many times has Stephen Bunting done this over the past year. Playing great and seemingly cruising, then hits the self destruct button.

Still think Bunting will prevail and just put a bet on him at evens.

Bunting scraping through there. Hope he can use this victory as the catalyst to go on a good early season run.

Whitlock was pretty rubbish really.

Moaning about not getting picked for Pl. Err, can't complain after that.

Comms talking about who would replace ando if he withdrew from the Pl. Whitlock on ranking but not on form!

Disappointed.

Easy, just go down the rankings... Ian White.

:D

I think it'd have to be Whitlock. He did enough on the year not to be rejected.
Although, I think Chisnall would be a better choice for his impact on his crazy good days.

Darren would merit a place much more than Whitlock.
I am disappointed he has not secured a place this year.

Just caught up with the action. Cracking bull by bunting.

Likable guy in interviews. Already won £10,000. Not bad for a meaningless, glorified exbo comp!

Clayton playing well. Could have been 6-6.now 8-5.

Got to say darts is in a good place. Thought mvg would win easily but Clayton putting on a okay show. The days of absolute dominance by 1 player seems long gone.

time I have typed this mvg poised to win!

And wins he does.

at least mvg has splashed some dosh on new shirts with 3 stars. When he became 2 times world champ he still wore his one star shirts for a while! Cheap skate.

oh and bunting introduced as world champ not lakeside champ. That should appease the fanatics.

To be honest a major point of interest is that it is the 1st event of the season so good to see how folks start the year.

Not many posts on this thread, kind of shows you are in the majority.

With a couple of exceptions those are averages that would not look out of place in the BDO.

The Bunting game was a cracker. Real nip and tuck. Glad to see the Bullet won in the end. I hope he has a great season.
