Pilgrim lost so finishes on 8 points. 12th, but will almost certainly drop out on legs won.

Of the players on 8 (Edhouse, Culleton, Borland and Newell), only Edhouse can finish on 9 points and be ahead of Ashton (by losing 3-5 or better).
Ladley (7) would overtake Ashton if he reached 9 and lost 2-5 or better. Could equal if 5-4, 5-4, 1-5, but presumably would be ahead on countback.
