What on earth are you talking about? I dont think I've ever defended Des Jacklin. I am 100% in agreement with the general consensus about him and his management on here.DavidOwen67 wrote:No, no, no. same with snooker, if it wasn't for barry both 'games' would be a lot poorer and the opportunities would be far less, when he croaks both games could well fall off a cliff
It's people like Des Jacklin these sports need to stay solvent. The PDC and the WPBSA (or whatever they're called now) are c*nts.

Is a list available if UK entrants who entered but didn't attend today?
Thinking of one.

The first weekend on the Challenge Tour is going to be such a quality field you'd think so definitely not easy for surespaceman70 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 16, 2020 9:36 pmEasier said than done, but clearly not winning a card in the 4 day lottery isn’t the end of the world.trotter01 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 16, 2020 9:22 pmHe did by winning a Challenge Tour on the first weekend which put him near the top of the Challenge Tour rankings putting him one of the first reserves for the pro tour.. That's the main thing if you miss a card.. Do really well on the first Challenge Tour weekend.
That said, if you are say a Mitchell, Williams etc. you still have to perform highly, but there are still chances.
I hope people like Mitchell and Williams get cards because they would be competive all year.. There's been plenty of players like Blades getting cards over the years with never a hope of getting anywhere near the top 64 after 2 years
Re: 2020 Q School
He also got a lot of his money by qualifying for a bunch of European Tour events and then mostly winning his first round game..trotter01 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 16, 2020 9:22 pmHe did by winning a Challenge Tour on the first weekend which put him near the top of the Challenge Tour rankings putting him one of the first reserves for the pro tour.. He earned 12k at Players Championships and _10k_ on the European Tour.
Edhouse opted out of the final Challenge Tour weekend to qualify for Gibraltar, which helped push him up the Pro Tour rankings.
Edhouse finished 65th on the PC OOM so just missed out on a Players Championship Finals spot.
Edhouse is not quite a top 64 player, but is very dangerous.
Re: 2020 Q School
Maybe if Williams had had Blades' draw he'd have got a card. But,after beating McKinstry, he lost to Edhouse, who then beat Gilding before losing to a hot Lowe.trotter01 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 17, 2020 1:16 amThe first weekend on the Challenge Tour is going to be such a quality field you'd think so definitely not easy for surespaceman70 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 16, 2020 9:36 pmEasier said than done, but clearly not winning a card in the 4 day lottery isn’t the end of the world.trotter01 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 16, 2020 9:22 pmHe did by winning a Challenge Tour on the first weekend which put him near the top of the Challenge Tour rankings putting him one of the first reserves for the pro tour.. He is one of those people that can take to any game and find a way to master it.NvH wrote: ↑Fri Jan 17, 2020 4:15 amYeah I remember that forum and Gaz Blades. Was a good forum(maybe still is) used to love the poker section on there.
Re: 2020 Q School
Not going to say who I am picking to get a card because he will tell me off.
All I will say is that he didn't do himself justice yesterday. I think he will have a point to prove today.

You and that other fanboy accused me of being Rout. How did that work out for you pair of idiots?
It's actually amusing reading your posts.
