Some ridiculous prices there. I wonder if we could get them to put it up on the exchange.

You could lay against all of those on Betfair and make a whopping profit.

If it though the oom table I'm loving the 8/1 about kev painter
It says to win a card. So its to win a card. Doesnt matter how.
Yeah it does. Wot u think about the 8/1 on painter. Bradders
Pondered that, but then was informed he only won £100 in 8 CT events last year, so it has put me off.

There's no money in it for him and it potentially pollutes his product - there's no point spending years moving the 'pub game over the road' and making sure that his product only had the best players on the telly if suddenly he has all those pub players in his organisation.

Hearn does want the BDO to survive, in largely it's current form. It keeps the pub players out, except in January when he wants all their q-school entry fees
I think the q school fees go direct to the pdpa to cover their costs.
How many entrants are there this year? 800 odd? That's a hell of a fund for the PDPA...
Well over £300,000.

Kerrrrrrrching!
Barely enough to cover 2 ProTour weekends.

Luckily the PDC will fund will generously fund all the others and those successful at Q School have the chance to reap far greater rewards than the outlay.

They'll fund AND generously fund? Well consider me impressed!

Good stuff. No doubt he'll blame the PDC for his failure to qualify, and his failure to play darts well.

Is this confirmed anywhere? I’d be suprised if he didn’t go given who he managed by.
All I can suggest is to download (I presume) the 6.30pm local BBC news programme from the iPlayer, i copied the post verbatim above. Thats all I know.

Maybe he thinks the risk of entering and not qualifying will affect his exhibition income etc. Better to spend the next year as "BDO World Champion Wayne Warren" than "Failed PDC Q School entrant Wayne Warren". Bit like Fallon pulling out of the Ladies WC.
