Given his trade he knows the next 5 or so years might be his last being able to work fulltime, and he has a young family, so it's a massive gamble for him to go on the pro tour a work is way up for a couple of years, especially given his age.

Without the 100k back up then I can sadly see he just hasn't got a choice. A healthy bdo/wdf circuit is exactly what someone in Wayne's situation/age needs, but looks like he will be shafted.

Although maybe he could nip up on Sunday and show his face and get CT qualified, assuming he cant get a refund now.

Poor excuse for wayne not to go because he didn't get paid what he was expecting. He's coming off the biggest win of his life, he's no spring chicken and despite what all the BDO fanatics say its lost its prestige. Being undercut should make him go even more.

So you’ve been done over by the BDO with prize money ,agree like the rest of us the BDO is finished and he is the last world champion and is just a normal working bloke with not many years left in a tough job, for Christ’s sake go and take your anger out at Q school that he’s paid for and at least end up on challenge tour with a pathway to earning a decent wedge that his undoubted talent deserves.
Or go to Romania for expenses at best, chasing points for a competition only happening in a delusional narcissists head.
