Re: 2019 PDC Challenge Tour
Looking down the list you realise just how competitive the Challenge tour has become. These will take more winning than BDO events this year.
Maybe thats why Williams isnt here.

Nope said in interview he was not going and focuses on BDO Tour this year.Zapp Brannigan wrote: ↑Fri Jan 25, 2019 9:17 pmPlayer list isn’t out on dart connect yet they are just putting two and two together because he wasn’t mentioned on the pdc previewssjsa wrote:Read on Twitter that Jim Williams has not entered. Given that a good weekend could have got him into the first PC events, think we can safely assume that he is going down the BDO route this year.
Could still be there, registration didn’t end until 2pm today

Re: 2019 PDC Challenge Tour
It makes sense to go for the bigger BDO prizes but why not go to a Challenge Tour weekend as well. After all if he did well maybe he could avoid the need to go to QS next year. It wont get any easier to get a Tour Card and theres no guarantee that decent money in the BDO will last.
Re: 2019 PDC Challenge Tour
Lisa Ashton is rather good. Won two games already today. Great to see her doing well on the CT once again. She's due to win one of these at some point I think

Re: 2019 PDC Challenge Tour
What a freefall in the careers of Hamilton and Newton over the last few years. Hardly a danger in CT events nowadays.

Re: 2019 PDC Challenge Tour
Not due. Needs to finish better when it matters. But another 90 thrown, and everything in the 80s. A step above the rest of the women players. I hope being one win away in Q School keeps her playing Challenge Tour. Lots of events close to home, and only one weekend clashing with a big BDO weekend.

I don't think he is. Very generic response, there.DavidB wrote: ↑Sat Jan 26, 2019 3:06 pmGarry Murphy wrote: ↑Sat Jan 26, 2019 1:30 pmhe won the pdc event around a decade ago....he reached the lakeside final this monthDavidB wrote: ↑Sat Jan 26, 2019 1:19 pmGarry Murphy wrote: ↑Sat Jan 26, 2019 11:02 amsorry for the delay, I was busy laughing with others elsewhere on the PDC MAJOR GRAND SLAM CHAMPION losing first round in the challenge tour.

Re: 2019 PDC Challenge Tour
Does anyone know Jim Williams reason for missing this weekend? Seems very strange, a good weekend this week could get you into 12 pro tour events.. all I can think is he already had commitments he couldn’t get out of, or he doesn’t understand playing this weekend could get him into pro tour events (reason I say that is Durrants comments on not understanding how the rankings work to get to ally pally, so other plays may not know either)

Its not like he would or even could bring himself to admit that waites and his 85 average cant cut it, but 85 got him into a lakeside final weeks ago.
The more he responds by trying to deflect the more desperate he is seen

Does anyone know how the event winnings are broken down per CT event?
