I do think now they ought to be able to afford a signiicant increase in prize levels. After all the Challenge Tour has now surpassed the BDO in quality
and needs better recognition.
Perhaps an end of season Championship for the Top 32.

Waites gone early again he is going to have to give himself a kick up the arse all these mid 80’s averages are not going to be good enough.
said the same myself about his 85 averages, in an earlier post
He might reach a lakeside final with it in 2019, but he will struggle on the secondary tour with those.
i am so sorry for my actions these last ten years, i'm going through a tough time

They already have that it's call Lakeside by some but its real name is the BDO World Professional Championships you may of heard of it or seen it on TV recently if you follow minor TV channels

Oh dear...
The challenge tour is tougher than the bdo that is fact.
85 average got waites a lakeside final a fortnight ago
it wont cut it in the secondary challenge tour.

I think slight increase each round make it 15k evevt
£75 £150 £300 £500 £800 runner up £1700 winner £2500
Problem is if it goes like it did last year and events only get 124 entrants they will be losing money.
That's a fair point ..the early fields are always likely to be the highest...iif fields of this size and quality are the norm it should be higher prize fund ...but if it does drop again then it's probably fair enough...have to see how it pans out to see if changes are needed next year
Corinne Hammond: 0-5 with a 54.0 average. Averaged 37.7 in her first leg. I don't rate her, but she's not normally _that_ bad. Nerves, I expect. Probably grinning like an idiot through it all.
Ashton woke up in her final leg to win 5-4.
mrsj180 got a win, with a few decent legs.
Keith Carter averaged 46.0 in his shock L256 defeat. Somebody needs to interview him. We need to know.
His 85 average gets him a spot in the final of Lakeside 2 weeks ago.
His 85 average sees his finish 106th in q- and too atrocious to be anywhere near a tour card.
Turns up on the challenge tour with his 85 average, and promptly loses twice on the saturday in the early rounds...one of them a last 512.
Turns up sunday and loses early again with his averages in the 70s....2019 lakeside finalist
dont bother replying oche, david etc trying to make excuses as usual as if this post is somehow approved by the lazy and useless snowflake mods, it will be hours later like usual and I wont be around.
In fact not sure why I even bother except I know laughing at Waites upsets people
i am so sorry for my actions these last ten years, i'm going through a tough time
Waites out first match again with a 78 average...his 8 days of PDC have been a nightmare..we'LL see how he goes for the rest of the year...not likely to be too motivated on the BDO side seeing he's at Lakeside already ..and needs a massive improvement to be competitive on the Challenge Tour..
This ain’t going to go down well but is it a case where the challenger tour is more of an interesting watch & provides more comment than the pro tour staring the Ian white roadshow & chums !
