Went out of my tracks to have a gyros for lunch. Later will listen to Vangelis' great song "Chariots of fire" while wondering how on earth Greece won the European Championship in 2004. And yeah, probably book a summer vacation in Corfu or thereabouts.

Have YOU looked in the mirror today and asked yourself: What have I done to honor the paradigm shifting win of the legendary greek Yannis "Thanásimo Triantáfyllo" Michail ?

Aye ?

Are they walk-on girls? In a BDO ranked event? Surely not!

I don’t know what all the fuss is about. I bet he is beatable on the floor.

Let him get on with it I say. If your good enough you will beat him if you play him.

The decision to ban VdV and the rest from the pairs is because the DO announced all three days will be streamed on you tube.
Don't understand what the difference is with Romania. Needs to be clarified this rule.

He was given permission by the PDC, simple as that really. Probably because he won his card after entering it and booking flights etc so the PDC was kind.
And he's a nobody playing in a nothing tournament in the great scheme of things. So why not.

Fair enough but why are Vincent Kamphuis and Mike van Duivenbode being singled out in the Dutch Open pairs?

So, let me get this right.

The PDC are c*nts for letting Michael play in and win the comp in Romania.

Now the PDC are c*nts for NOT letting Kamphuis and van Duivenbode (amongst others) play in the DO pairs?

No pleasing some people.

Well you can hardly let them play it and stop VVdV...

Just to piss off the commentators I want to see a completely unpronounceable name partnering JM in the PDC World Cup - John Michael and Stavros Papadopoulopoulos for example.

No the PDC were right for letting Michael play in Romania as it was before the season started.
And they are right for stopping players play in the Dutch open because then the season will have started.
