Just so everyone knows I will not be following suit, nor sending any changes to Fling by PM.

No issue for me with anyone else changing predictions, as I am pretty comfortable with mine, so let the games begin.
As a moderator do you get notified of edits or have you spotted it because you were seeing what other predictions were?

Desperate to win. Time to introduce a no editing rule on comps?
I was comletely aware that this might happen and could have left posting my entry until the last minute, then closed the thread, or alternatively could have sent my entry by PM to Fling, but for me both the cash competition and the Prediction competition are all just a bit of fun which adds to the enjoyment of the PL.

I personally have no issue with any poster either editing their predictions, or leaving it to the last minute to enter, as I am always confident with my predictions, and tactical entries do not change my opinions on potential scores and results.

Looking forward to tonight and good luck to everyone in with a chance of winning a set of darts and/or the cash prize fund.

And let's not forget Sally has donated the best prize of all, for the Random draw winner, a set of darts actually used by the great Bob Anderson.

Think it comes down to whether you picked Cross or Wade to win tonight.

Close call for me, especially since I was the only one to pick James to win last week, but just felt Rob would be the victor this week.

If one of the entrants edited their pick from Cross to Wade in an attempt to win the cash competition, it has probably cost them a set of darts in the Red Dragon sponsored competition.

Actualy bloody hell. Are you really moaning that you only won one out of three prizes in a free to enter competition, instead of two prizes out of three?

See my post at the bottom of page 1 and a few posts on the following page.
Otherwise see comment about "The decision of myself and the site moderators are final" which is actually in your comment attached.

No probz, using the myself and mod decision is final is a bit of a kop out tbh. Wouldnt havr carried on entering after judgement night if it was clear though. I am only pointing out as some ass in future may kick up an almighty fuss.

Cheers for running it and the updates provided.

fling wrote: Fri Feb 15, 2019 12:52 pm Attached is the cumulative scores after 2 weeks.

There are 3 sets of darts (donated by Red Dragon) up for grabs across the whole of the competition. The prize value is £40 per set but if you want more expensive darts then you can pay the difference.

My suggestion for prize split would be the top points scorer after 9 nights (Judgement night in Rotterdam), the top points scorer in nights 10 through to and including the final and 1 for the highest score overall (potentially excluding the winner of the first 2 prizes).

Sally is also donating a set of darts which I will do a random draw for. Entries for this will need to have participated in at least 13 of the 17 nights.

As for the cash entries I received £110 so was thinking of a split of £75 and £35 for the first 2 overall at the end of the competition.

Any other suggestions are appreciated.
Bumped to clarify this was the prize criteria.
