Barneveld out next round. Broke in 14 to go 5-4 up, but Rodriguez broke him in 12 and then went out in 18 to hold and win. Barneveld may have had 1 dart for it.

So he could consider himself a victim of the tough European qualifying in this one.

De Sousa made it, coming from 5-1and 2 breaks down against Clemens, further helping his Pro Tour ranking.

I know they want some local players for the crowds to cheer but it does seem stupid you have so many home nation qualifiers who are now amateurs given the Tour card holders have a separate qualifier.

Possibly not Gibraltar but definitely at the German, Dutch and Czech ET events as they have multiple tour card holders would reduce the home nation qualifiers to only 2 and give more spaces to the European tour card qualifier.

I agree maybe do 2 from Spain and have 2 from Gibraltar to mix it up a bit
