Fair play to White for winning that. Wright blew it though should have won it the leg before.

White moves into 10th in the OOM with that win despite never making a tv semi final.
Euro events are on TV, aren't they? Just not in the UK.
No.

Which channel in which country.

I believe the PDC only count it as streamed not televised as you only get a silver not gold pin for 9 darters.

So not in the PDC cheers. Also not ranked so what bearing has that got to do with the fact a bloke who has never made a major semi final has got into the top 10. Was a big event back in the day when it was the only darts on TV but not when they brought it back from the dead for one year.

£250 of until this weekend. Then top 10. Shows that the PDC OOM benefits floor players to much IMO have already stated how I would change this before. Might get a bit better seeming as they have increased prize money the majors this year. Be intresting to see if White can actually preform on TV this year now that he is being consistent on the ET stages.

You seem to have me confused with somebody else. In fact I would go as far to say that agree with the Socratic paradox.

Really good LiveDarts interview with Glen Durrant. Looks to me, he is suggesting he will be moving from Harrows.

The PDC didn't exist in 1997.

He played for a winners check of £42000 at the time this was the 2nd highest prize available in darts with only the PDC worlds in 1997 at £45000 paying more. It's got everything to do with your statement as this tournament proves you are incorrect in your assumptions. It was a major , it was on TV and he reached the final ranking or who ever organised it is irrelevant to what you have claimed.

How do you know ? It was shown live on Sky at the time so it would of been as popular as any other darts they showed then. Phil Taylor's comments on winning it in 1997 alone show the high regard this tournament was thought of by the players and to rubbish it as insignificant as you have is a total disrespect to the history of darts.

The fact it was only on for one year shows you that it wasn’t held in high regard. I couldn’t care less if he won a tv non ranking event as it would mean sweet FA towards the ranking which is what the point was about: Less that he made the final of a non ranked tv event over 20 years ago.
