They say the third time is the charm. With Ian White it seems that the 154th time will be the charm. Diamonds they say are forever. It will probably take forever for the diamond to break his duck.
For you would consider your 15th post the charm. ;-)
16th. I deleted one.

Well played Ian White. Thought he had blown his chance when he was affected by the crowd and complaining to the referee, but overcame all that and was a deserved winner. :DDDD:

It's only right it was Ian White. Firstly because Ian White was the last player to take him to the final leg in a final, and secondly because it means Ian White earned an extra 15k by winning, helping to solidify his 10th place on the OOM.

Kudos to White, had to put up with the partisan crowd and hit the doubles when it mattered. Always nice to see MVG get done over.

His biggest test is the World Matchplay

So true. Himself + Dan Dawson are yes men to all the PDC players. There are hardly any insightful commentators left in darts nowadays.

The English PDC crowd is just as bad as the Dutch PDC crowd. White is just a baby.

Complete bollocks. English and Scottish crowds have chanted "Barney Army" against their own domestic players for years.

You're a moron if you believe otherwise.

RVB is a special case.

The rest of the Dutch are up against it at English PDC events. The PDC crowds in Scottish and Irish support who they like.

Nonsense. MvG has massive support because he's a winner and VVdV has a catchy walk on tune. UK fans get behind both of these as well.
White won against the crowd and is rapidly cementing a solid ranking. Big TV performances coming up in the next 18 months. Hopefully beating some more dodgy, Dutch lady fondlers on the way.

David being as blinkered as per usual. Dutch fans have supported UK and worldwide darts players since year dot.

Vincent was heckled before he chose that walk on tune. MVG is always up against it when he plays Taylor and Lewis. Most of the major PDC and BDO events are played in England. The Dutch are the outsiders. Check your bias.

White is just a baby. He can't handle the English TV events or some light whistling by the PDC Dutch crowd.
