Not one of them will be likely attending the event anyway and Tony has a vested interest in it because of his mrs, so naturally he would be more vociferous about it.
Also have an interest for myself as it will have places apparently for qualifiers wherever these qualifiers maybe.

Me personally, I think they should bite the bullet, hold there hands up and cancel it for this year.

But will eurosport let them, would it break thr contract with them that they have and then putting the Winmau (whatever it may be called) and World champs in jeopardy of no tv.

10.5 weeks and no qualifier organised, which at this rate will probably be at the same venue on the day before the event starts (so a Thursday). Absurd.

When the Welsh cinema was announced at only 6 weeks notice, was there a qualifier?

Is the Eurosport contract still in place?

Why wouldnt it be, it was for three events over three years starting with Lakeside 2019.

I assume it wont be breached unless there is no WDT 2019, which at the moment is still on (although with no named venue)

I suppose I could ask them when the next darts they are showing is.

Catch 22, no TV no venue, no venue no TV. Surely there would be a clause that gives Eurosport a minimum of say 90 days confirmation of the location, dates and sessions. The BDO may already be in breach and Eurosport may not be that unhappy about it given the current shambles.

Quite right, be wise to knock it on the head.
We know that hardly anyone will turn up so what is the point.

You not been following the Oche countdown on Twitter?
I particularly enjoy the times he tweets about it then 3 hours later re-tweets with "still no news"

Who was the company that did the filming work ?

Perhaps an email to them might reveal if they are even booked for the proposed dates

They are hardly going to reveal their work schedule. Shall wait to see what Eurosport say.
