All the venues with glitz and glamour are surely all booked up by now.

When he came on here and said he had no interest in running the BDO we all scoffed.

It's becoming more apparent by the day that he was telling the truth.
This didn't get the credit it deserved

I have been looking at fanatics, it's like a cult following. Seems the "fans" are backing them still but dont see many players doing the same.

Can't believe the change in Paul since he was a regular poster here, surely he has been hynotized and is wired up to spout the BDO is all fine brigade.

The last 5-10 years of Olly were awful, when the coup happened I honestly had hope they could recover. The last 2 years or so have been worse than anything that has gone before. It feels like those who can are creaming whatever is left without any plan for what happens in 20 years time.

Ticket sales are woeful, many reasons for this. Players knowing they can earn a decent regular crust in PDC leaving them with not many names those who don't know the county scene have any idea who they are. Even players who get top 16ish now see the sense in switching.

No idea apparently on how to negotiate with companies, venues and sponsors. Leaving the situation at the minute with nothing known about any of there majors.

Include the dire my way will work attitude rather than listening to the sensible views of others so you get a balanced idea.

Farcical by all involved who look amateurish hour by hour.

Dont normally express views so clearly but this situation deserves it.

Who would be bothered to stand against him for the next new era, though there probably won't be anything left to run.

How will we tell the difference?

Apart from fewer adverts for the North Cyprus Open, obviously.

I doubt it's a cost issue, what with him being a world leading business genius and all that.

The guy's on holiday. It's bad enough he has to spend all his time in "work" avoiding those annoying requests for information from players, without him having to spend all day doing that when he'd much rather be sipping cold San Miguels, and rubbing factor 50 into Paula's nooks and crannies.
