Anybody with any sense will quickly realise a) there are much cheaper offerings, and/or b) its sodding 10 miles away.

In a previous job role, I spent a lot of time in Preston, Blackburn and Burnley, and stayed in the Tickled Trout on a number of occasions. It is in the middle of nowhere, just off Junction 31 on the M6 and from there, it is a nightmare to get to Blackburn Town Centre. In all fairness, it would still be a nightmare getting to the Guild Hall as the traffic through Preston is always heavy.

Cannot for the life of me understand this recommendation for hotel accomodation, as surely darts fans attending would want something relatively close, so that they could go for a couple of beers on the way to the venue without having to fork out for an excessive taxi fare.
