I’ve watched for 2 minutes and heard mace make a dig that bdo players have only 3 chances to impress a year and Rawling make a dig about the atmosphere

You’d think des would make sure they didn’t bring shit like that up

is that a dig or is it stating facts which imo should be applauded, unlike chomcast & before murdoch tv where any criticism of the product shown on the channel was & is still beyond the pale nowt wrong with criticism which is factually accurate,

Agree wholeheartedly. The darts is definitely not too bad but when you compare with fairly recent BDO history the overall package is in the toilet. I think the marketability of the BDO has to reside in Amateur darts providing the odd chance of TV exposure with vastly reduced prize money which can be sustained

Stage looks amateurish, bunch of screens with purple cloth stuck on and a bunch of posters. Boards seem to hold up well,they appear to be superior than unicorn, although that is not hard to achieve.

budget for telly lower, standard of darts lower, atmosphere very different, but still enjoyable for a decent constituency of darts fans,

You may be successful at promoting darts events in Turkey Spain Etc
Darts Events that take entries to play, Events that players NEED to enter to gain points and for that you all do an amazing job.

But Selling Stage Events, Events that need a following, Events that need paying punters,
Events that need DARTS FANS

You need to promote and advertise outside the box.

Advertise on here and all the Social Media sites that’s great anyone can do that but this is NOT going to sell an event out.

You need speculate to accumulate and advertise, locally, nationally on radios on billboards outside of the usual bubble to the masses

I’m so glad I introduced the BDO to the IndigO2 for the Worlds at least they took some advice there.

They will use everything available to them to make it a success not just open the doors and I will push and help with Shownights too as I have a following in the area."
