Don’t bother. Literally no one cares.
Quite.

No. Ben isn't here but did lie about buying a ticket for the event. So that counts. :D

Trina really struggling.

Just out of hospital apparently.

The crowd in Blackburn yesterday, I managed to count 55 but it was difficult because the camera was all over the shop. Seems a lot more crowded today.

Funniest moment was when the Aussie Justin Thompson didn't arrive for his walk on for what seemed at least 5 minutes. Probably wasn't that long. Maybe he was stuck on the bog with a bad case of the toilet-two-steps.

A rather bizarre interview with Glen Durrant last night when he seemed to think the BDO was going from strength to strength or words to that effect. Does he know something I wondered.

I thought it was odd that he was holding a cheque from the BDO for £100 made out to cash and signed by one D Jacklin.

Looking forward to this last match between Taylor and Williams.

Scott Taylor played fantastically well in the last round, but will need to repeat that performance to beat The Quiff.

A couple of points.

I was sat next to trina's table. She did not look well at all.

good chat with Paul. Whatever you think of him he is a darts guy who loves the game. Hey he even gave Mrs devo a kiss on the cheek.

short chat with potts (the sportotal guy). He confirmed he sorted out venue and other stuff.

suzuki a real nice lady (sat near us). Popular. But just seems so genuine and pleased to be there and talk to folk.

Good last match. Well played Jim Williams. Looks like between him and Harms for the title.

Oh, and good to see leaflets for the JDC on all the tables. All about the JDC and ow they are affiliated with the PDC. MVG picture on there.

Would the previous board have them on the tables?

Has been so much better than most on here predicted (some will, of course, be pissed off that he has been a relative success)

Looking forward to the BDO Worlds now.

I'm a big BDO cynic, but tonight was 75% full downstairs - no balcony seating sold at all.
Very decent atmosphere and respectful on players' throws - always a plus.

With more notice/earlier announcement this really could have been a roaring success.

On the downside, Paul Booth is no Ashdown. Reminded me of a Butlins redcoat the way he asked for "a lovely big round of applause" constantly and other such cliches including every losing player being described as a runner-up! :D

Fair play, though. Much better than I expected and repeatedly proving that you don't need massive averages for interesting and exciting matches.

Pauly was good company as were Mr and Mrs Unob and the Winstanleys. Joe Chaney is a proper "Southern Gentleman". :D

Best of all was Mitchell getting turfed out by Steyer. Lovely stuff.

What on earth are you referring to? If you are going to get abusive I will sod off. I came on here hoping to make a valid contribution and I get a childish remark made towards me of which I don't understand. If you didn't like my post then jog on please and keep your beak out. I am not going to be browbeaten by keyboard warriors like you.

No wonder no bugger signs up on here if this is the warm welcome new members receive. I would more welcome if I was a Jew and serving Hitler's lunch.

If I did misunderstand the reference to I presume the late great Sir Bobby Robson then I sincerely apologise but if not I stand by my statement.

Well, I can't say it has been fun as this is likely to be my last post.

Toodaloo.

How is that abusive?

Just thought you were a former poster on here called Robson.

Your massive over-reaction and accompanying essay are similar to him as well.

You tell me. Who the hell is this Robson you refer to? Just because I write an intelligent and gramatically correct post I must be this "legendary" Robson. FYI my surname is THOMAS! I am new. Why make a cryptic comment that you KNEW I wouldn't understand? If you didn't like my post just ignore it! I won't take offence! If it wasn't abusive it was complete and utter shyte that meant bugger all to me!

I seriously don't want to fall out with anyone but I will be buggered if I will sit still while posters make cryptic remarks about my posts. All you had to do was say "Good point" or "Don't agree" or ignore.

As I said I will apologise to you but please don't treat me like a fool.
