over on original fanatics Ross is still none the wiser as to what is going on, though it seems the New Zealand qualifier (Mark McGrath) has received his invite to this comp.

Tournament rules have been updated for 2019 on the BDO website - I can't see anything different about them compared with last year:

The handful of punters wanting tickets have been on tenterhooks for ages.
Remarkable the venue is not even known yet :DDD:

It’s only may, no need to panic

The BDO only need about 4 weeks to shift the 79 tickets they are likely to sell.

What channel is this on? :)

I suppose it does make us ask the question, is this just a difficult event for which to get a venue, sponsor and TV sorted or have multiple BDO boards just been incompetent?

It is possible that this event has not captured the imagination of the fans or sponsors, however hard to believe that is.

Blimey, worse than I remembered.
Is it really worth running this, better off knocking it on the head.

Masters had a woeful crowd. Paying punters are just not interested. If the Worlds move from Lakeside, expect the same.

Yes, but signed AFTER the last WDT.

Either the Masters '18 or "Lakey" '19 was the first event it covered.
