A whole session of Ladies games on a Friday afternoon may be worth doing as an experiment, to see if there is a market for it. Saying that, people happily bought tickets for this before knowing the schedule.

When you say "swap it", you want them to play the mens L16 before the mens L32? A novel idea. Cant see it catching on.

Martin Shaw is the biggest fibber on darts forums.

Do call in for a brew as you're passing. :D

Had to look at the schedule, have they really put that game on at 8.20 or so on a Saturday night?

Jesus.

They never help themselves. I assume the matches are being played in draw order with absolutely no deviation?

Given the likely standard of the game, scat is more apt.

I also thought it is strange to put Suzuki on 15:30 UK Time, which is 23:30 Japanese time. Not very smart marketing wise.

I’m pretty sure hardly anyone in Japan will be interested in her playing in this event let alone watch it live.

You are incorrect. Millions will be watching on live streams. ;-)

The only interest in Japan in darts is when they have a player go out in the last 96 of Ally Pally.
No one cares about having a world champion.

Was it Paul Nicholson who declared during Lakeside that darts is huge in Japan and there is a darts bar on every street, or such bollox of a similar nature?
