Being in Blackburn very few Southern counties are going to find people travelling all that way. They should be pushing Lancashire and all the towns around Blackburn, Manchester, Liverpool etc. to go.
Make it compulsory those county members must attend. That would go down well

But why would the county teams give a toss about the world trophy?
If they can’t be arsed to turn up to the qualifiers why would they pay to come and watch?

Darts fans have to give the new regime their full support and a chance to show what plans lie ahead for the BDO; it’s most definitely the start of a new era, yes.

Yup it beggers belief that they still haven't bothered even promoting it in Lancashire.Nowt on the Radio, nowt in the paper, nowt in any pub and most of the players in Blackburns local league have no idea that this is on.
So instead of sending a begging e-mail they should be fekkin ashamed of themselves for not even trying to promote it.

We all knew it, I think we thought Des and his Directors would have to promote this to show they actually have a clue on what they should be doing. But alas no.
They had a chance with Rovers playing away that weekend and could have even tried putting an advert in Rovers' programme the last month.

Massive ticket discounts to come and I reckon the 800 might be realistic.

It shows you are desperate and not many people have booked if they discount them or give them away.
I would be fuming had I purchased a ticket weeks ago and had I waited until the last minute I could have got them cheaper.

So why is Des issuing orders to individual counties 'tasking them to shift tickets he can't sell or promote properly ?

The counties won’t listen anyway. All they have to say if questioned is they booked them direct with the venue and no one will be any the wiser.

Bet he was dying to slip in an idle threat.
