Australian Open 2019

I think this must be the event that Darts Australia have been trailing as the biggest ever in Australia. Whether we'll ever know, given their inability to publish flyers or other useful information, remains to be seen. The fact that Williams and Mitchell are heading out must mean there is some decent money behind it.

Must be more to it then just going out to play the one event, even if its £5k to the winner is it really worth the trip? Must be going out to do other things, if they actually bother going at all.

Apart from a couple of jpgs is there any details that they are playing or of the event itself?

Absolutely no mention after a quick Twitter search of him ever mentioning it. Have the Aussies just whacked a couple of random pictures up? :D

Well well well. So he is happy to fly 20+ hours across the world at a great expense (either to him or somebody else), but not to go 2 hours within the UK to qualify for the UK Open.

Absolute hypocrite.

Maybe he is off to explore farming options on the other side of the world.

Mitchell tells more lies than a cheap watch. He'd be better off just admitting he doesn't think he's really up to PDC level and would rather be a big fish in a smaller pond. How will the cows cope whilst he's in Australia?

And comes up with ludicrous excuses as to why, well done for missing the point again.

Surely that depends what for, really. Let's say I was trying to research the history of Northern Soul music. Or if I was looking for a decent pie.

Many times his excuse has been that there is too much travelling in the PDC and that he couldn't leave the farm due to all the hours he has to put in. Yet he still manages to fly around the arseholes of Europe and now even as far as Australia! Only reasonable conclusion is that his "too much travelling" excuse is just that, an excuse, and certainly not the real reason he doesn't attempt Q School.

I think anyone with a brain cell on here knows he is full of excuses, but let Mr White Knight have a go at being contrary for a bit, it's rather amusing.

And before he has a moan about that "white knight" term, may I remind Oche I have spent the last 24 hours calling a PDC player a sc*mbag.
