if the 100k dropped to 50k it's not going to encourage more folks to go to the pdc imo. Those who are staying are staying. And many of the young guys coming up have their eye on ally pally as the main goal.

But no reason to move the money to the women's game. Better to cut the top prize and bump up some of the earlier rounds.

The depth seems greater now in the women's game, but still it's too often in the low 70s and 60s once you get outside the top 5 or so.

To me it would be sensible to drop the first prize and re distribute it to the earlier rounds..it makes sense...100k doesn't stop players attempting QS ..under the current rules they will go to QS regardless if they wish...100k was only ever brought it to compete with the PDC top prize at the time anyway and those days have gone....a re distribution of the prize fund would benefit far more players
