I said it once before, but based on what little I've seen of her, I think that Jacklin would do a lot better if her 3rd dart weren't so bad. It might be worth her trying a 4th dart. Her typical average is high 50s to low-mid 60s, so it wouldn't take much improvement to get her more competitive with more of the top 16.Demolition_fan wrote: ↑Sat Mar 23, 2019 6:55 pm It's her only route.
From what I have seen of her she is absolute shit

6 x Cat C + 6 x Cat D wins would put you up to currently 7th in the Ladies Rankings and 4th in the Men'sPaddy McGinty wrote: ↑Mon Mar 25, 2019 9:16 amAddicks schooling the numpties once again......Addicks Fan wrote: ↑Sun Mar 24, 2019 4:38 pmPaula this season has (before this weekend) points from 2 Cat A+, 4 Cat A, 1 Cat B and 5 Cat C events. Is that not possible to reach Lakeside ?
Re: BDO Darts (23/24th March)
If anyone wins 12 Cat C/D events they should definitely be on the hallowed stage.el_ringo wrote: ↑Mon Mar 25, 2019 7:42 pm6 x Cat C + 6 x Cat D wins would put you up to currently 7th in the Ladies Rankings and 4th in the Men'sPaddy McGinty wrote: ↑Mon Mar 25, 2019 9:16 amAddicks schooling the numpties once again......Addicks Fan wrote: ↑Sun Mar 24, 2019 4:38 pmPaula this season has (before this weekend) points from 2 Cat A+, 4 Cat A, 1 Cat B and 5 Cat C events. But you do agree that someone who wins 12 ranking tournaments (whatever the cat) should be playing in the WC?el_ringo wrote: ↑Mon Mar 25, 2019 10:22 pmIt's only the best 12 results long for everyonePaddy McGinty wrote: ↑Mon Mar 25, 2019 9:43 pm

Re: BDO Darts (23/24th March)
Not when they consist of 'outback' opens which only need a prize fund of £1000 and award points below the level you can win cash then No they shouldn't.
Should Paula or Jim Wedmeyer or Doggie Dawson be anywhere near a tournament that is meant to represent and display the best players within your system then no definitely not
And if players like those 3 can qualify then serious questions should be asked about the qualification system as its obviously flawed
Re: BDO Darts (23/24th March)
But you do realise that nobody has ever done the above?el_ringo wrote: ↑Mon Mar 25, 2019 10:49 pmNot when they consist of 'outback' opens which only need a prize fund of £1000 and award points below the level you can win cash then No they shouldn't.

Re: BDO Darts (23/24th March)
That's irrelevant as it's more than perfectly possible to have done. Look at this weekend for example if Paula is winning the ladies singles and 2 lots of pairs then really what does that show about the quality of the fields you would need to go thru to make Lakeside ?
What did Jim Widmeyer have as the 12 boxes for qualify for this year ? I'd be amazed if he had anything above a Cat C event in them

Did you go "oh dear!" when you saw Betfair were limiting people to £50ew on the outright F1 markets?daveboygreen wrote: ↑Mon Mar 25, 2019 11:23 pmOh dear!!el_ringo wrote: ↑Mon Mar 25, 2019 11:07 pmThat's irrelevant as it's more than perfectly possible to have done. Widmayer didn’t have to fill 12 boxes.

Those demanding change wont be getting it whilst the wife of the chairman gets a good proportion of her points from Cat C events. But apparently only the manager of Dave Chisnall getting the job would have created a conflict of interests.....
Anyway its 5 days until the end of March. Any sign of those announcement that will shock us all or did Des jump the gun? Or did those "paedos on forums" scupper the deals? Or something.

Of course not, Ringworm is just being awkward as usual, if someone is prepared to put in the legwork and commitment in an attempt to qualify for the big one then hats off to them. Ringworm wants to reward laziness.
