PL possibly changing. Forward planning all the time. The P does stand for Professional!

I liked the point he made re players complaining. he challenges them because their complaint is just about them and not the bigger picture. But then sometimes, he realises they have a point. And it is considered.

A major moving to Europe? Surely they will not move from Blackpool wintergardens. So which major will move?
Winter Gardens is here to stay for the forseeable future.

The Grand Prix in Dublin is, in all fairness a disappointment in terms of the attendance and the PDC are always looking to improve their tournaments.

Used to attend the Masters when in Edinburgh and the WSOD Finals when in Glasgow, but both venues were never near full, and both have been moved out of Scotland.

At least he was born in Scotland.. not like numerous English born footballers who have represented Scotland and Ireland for years...
Good friend of mine is a fiercely patriotic Scot but let it slip one evening that he was born in the nearest hospital to his mum's home which was just across the border in Berwick On Tweed - gets very very upset when we call him an Englishman.

I could also see the Grand Slam moving from Wolverhampton. Both the Civic Hall (or whatever it’s called) and the temporary leisure park venue have pretty small capacity. They could also easily fill one of the big arenas in Holland or Germany.

May also make sense as if the BDO entrants remain they are becoming more and more European as the top British players defect to the PDC.

The best dutch darters play in the BDO. Other than MVG.

RAF(H) Wegberg, you mean.

Had eye operations there. The second time, in the late 80s, there was a bomb scare, and my dad, who was dropping me off couldn't just disappear because he was RAF.

Even ignoring MVG, I'd pick the 2nd-6th ranked Dutch PDC players to win a match against the top 5 ranked Dutch BDO players any day.

2nd-6th ranked Dutch PDC players
Jermaine Wattimena
Raymond van Barneveld
Jeffrey de Zwaan
Vincent van der Voort
Jelle Klaasen

Yep!

Not sure if thats an agreement yep or a sarcastic yep... I would definitely take that lot over the top 5 Dutch players in the BDO... and that list doesn't include Noppert yet either..

Veenstra and Harms are too strong for Klassen and RVB. Willem Mandigers is stronger than the PDC dutch prospects.
