Early shocks with both Soldier Gates and Nick Linberg going out in the Last 64.
No such problems for the Scorpion who wins his last 2 legs in 28 darts to beat Martin Howard 5-2 and progress to the Last 32.

Correct. Jeff missed a couple of doubles but mainly his scoring completely dried up from 3-0.ILAD wrote: ↑Sun Aug 11, 2019 4:41 pmDid Campbell just play ok?DavidOwen67 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 11, 2019 10:07 amJeff Jeff Jeff losing 6-3 from 3-0 up in the QF, theressjsa wrote: ↑Sun Aug 11, 2019 8:31 am Results from Main Event 7.

Re: CDC Tour 2019
The qualification criteria for the USA and Canadian teams for the 2020 BetVictor World Cup of Darts has been confirmed.
The World Cup features two-player teams representing their nations, with qualification initially based on players' ranking on the PDC Order of Merit.
Should there not be two players from the USA or Canada on the main PDC Order of Merit, the two-year Magic Darts Championship Darts Circuit Order of Merit - based on prize money won in the regular CDC events - will then be used to determine either the second qualifier or both qualifiers.
The CDC circuit in north America features five double-header weekends in 2019, with the final events to be held on September 14-15 in Philadelphia. The 2020 schedule will be confirmed in due course.
"We're thrilled to continue to play a stronger and stronger part in the game on the global stage," said CDC CEO Peter Citera.
"We've been taking strong actions towards making sure our tour truly does represent both of the great countries it serves and this is another key piece in that puzzle. We also expect to announce additional initiatives supporting the Canadian market soon."
In addition, the CDC's 2019 Continental Cup winner will receive a place in the 2020 US Darts Masters and North American Championship events staged as part of the PDC's World Series of Darts.
PDC Chief Executive Matthew Porter said: "These moves further strengthen our relationship with the CDC, and for the World Cup of Darts mirrors the process for selection with our non-UK affiliated tours.
"The CDC is playing an important role in developing darts in north America and it has been encouraging to see their further growth during 2019."
Following the conclusion of the Magic Darts Championship Darts Circuit tour in Philadelphia, the top 16 players from the 2019 standings will progress to play in the CDC Continental Cup, presented by Cosmo Darts, on October 19.
The Continental Cup will be held at the K of C Council Hall #3701 in Woodside, New York, and will be the first ticketed spectator event being staged by the CDC, with the first round in the afternoon from 1200 USET and the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final in the evening session from 1800.
Tickets begin from just $10. To purchase, please visit www.ticketsource.us/champdarts.
