Hughes only himself to blame, was superb in spells but woeful for legs at a time.

Huge disappointment for Jamie Hughes, but in all fairness Jamie rode his luck throughout that match and Zoran deserved to win.

Huge win for Young but honestly he could have been a bit more gracious IMO.

Pointless interview, not even a comment for crowd when asked if anything to say.
Thinking of one.

Don't understand why he agreed to an interview, if he was going to act like that.

It didnt appear he heard one word in ten there so probably didnt pick up on the specific question BUT he could have thanked the crowd regardless. They've been there for him for 20+ years and he shouldn't have needed to be pushed to thank them. Did himself no favours there, emotional or not it was a petty finish, a middle finger to those shouting his name years after his decline began. The Crusader wrote: ↑Sat Dec 14, 2019 10:50 pm Pointless interview, not even a comment for crowd when asked if anything to say.

Wish he'd stop using the word "stanza".

Pleased for Darin Young after the way the crowd reacted. Best not type any more about that or I might start to sound like Paddy McGinty, and there are some lines I won't cross.
That "interview" was utterly pathetic though. You've had a career 99% of players only dream of, you've been one of, if not THE most popular player in the world for years, fans loving you for years....and you give them THAT as the final memory?
Why do I get the feeling Young is going to completely collapse in his next match though?

With all the comments on Barney's performance and interview, let's not forget that Darin Young did fantastically well to win tonight.
Up against the crowd, held his nerve well and deservedly through to the 2nd Round.
