Haha, so it's all Simon's fault for slowing the game down when he was throwing quicker than he usually does. Does Price watch any other players' matches? Wait til he plays Durrant tomorrow, come on Glen!
Salt tears aplenty.
At least the smelly-bearded convict is out. Happy days.
Looking at him trending on Twitter, and trying desperately to find one positive thing being said about Mr Price. Interviews like he just did show just why the majority dislike him so much. Come on Glen, or anyone that plays him in this tournament.
Overall a session that didn't deliver on the promise. The first match was decent thanks to the de zwaan comeback but Wright should have wrapped up it much quicker. The 2nd and 3rd matches just not great to watch. Bit too cagey with little flow.
Quarter final day tomorrow which is my favourite day of the darting calendar. Mvg should cruise and fancy aspinall over dvdb in a good one.
If Humphries keeps hitting big out shots he'll bother Wright but think Wright's experience will see him through. Price v durrant a good match up. Can see Glenn frustrating Price and could cause the upset.
Well done Simon for winning two whitewash sets, just couldn't find the timing in 3 of the first 5 sets and had nothing left at the end. Last 16 run for the 50-year-old past his best is very creditable, a la Steve Beaton, two of the true gents of the game and should both be proud of their runs here at Ally Pally.

Being 50 is not his problem, the alcohol consumption is.

God rest Alf Garnett and Prince Phil.
I used to love cycling but unfortunately I know a man who doesn’t like cyclists.
Another £35k in the bank for Simon too, as with Steve Beaton, which will position them well inside the top 32 of the world still at their age. Credit to them
Considering I was expecting 4-0, as were most on here, to get Price worried at several instances was a good effort, just past his best now. Onto 2020 for Simon!
Decent day of darts overall, two cracking games in Lewis-Dimitri & Snakey-De Zwaan. Hoping for at least 3 close quarter-finals tomorrow to continue what has been a super tournament.

Chill guys! Have a half.
This.
My each way bet on Dobey didn't come good, sadly. Still, fair play to Durrant.
Can't see past MVG making finals night. I haven't a clue who he is going to play mind. The other half of the draw still has Durrant, Price and Wright in it. Good luck picking a winner out of those three.
