I wonder if folks have lost money trying to resell?
Think the PDC would take them back at face value if you can’t go. No need to sell them on etc. Just trying to stop people from profiting from touting.

If you have sold on viagogo and they have been cancelled then replacements need to be sought and potentially the seller will have to pay extra charges.
The PDC would not take back tickets.

That is irrelevant is it not? PDC’s terms and conditions, they can do what they want, their event and their tickets.

Well they were kind of promoting Viagogo not so long ago as being their “official ticket resellers”, and many on here myself included were saying that it was legalised ticket touting. Since Joe Public and the media have got a bit savvier to the issue, they’ve taken the polar opposite stance. Some might say it’s hypocrisy.

The PDC news article does say 'unauthorised ' sites.

Viagogo was the PDC's official reseller until July 2017. So they promoted them. After that they changed reseller to SeeTickets.

So rather than hypocrisy, it is at worst changing behavior under pressure and then trying to claim the moral high ground.

‘Unauthorised ‘ is the clue, not rocket science.

Damon Heta has taken a further step towards qualifying for the William Hill World Darts Championship following the latest DPA ProTour weekend in Melbourne.

Brisbane Darts Masters champion Heta is on course to make his World Championship debut in December, having extended his lead over James Bailey at the top of the DPA Order of Merit.

Heta was victorious in two of the four events held at the Seaford Hotel, defeating Gordon Mathers in both finals, and reached one other semi-final as he continued his superb year.

He is now holding an almost unassailable advantage going into the year's final four ProTour events in Canberra from October 11-13.

Mathers' strong weekend saw him reach a third final as he was edged out by Tim Pusey, with Raymond O'Donnell being the other event winner in Melbourne.

Would love seeing another non tour card holder like Scott Taylor sneak in a world champ spot.

There is some hope for him, because he has hit some form at a right time. He'll still have a chance in the worlds if he wins the tour card holder qualifier.
